Our client is an established global fintech in the multi-asset trading systems area, and with the launch of new trading products and services they are scaling for more global growth. With leading investment banks, brokers, asset managers and hedge funds as clients in APAC, they are already well positioned and as part of continued expansion plans for the region are building a technical support team in Singapore. This will initially be the Manager plus 2 Technical Support Analyst reports.
Its a critical role to create the regional support processes, infrastructure and procedures as you feel fit to provide the highest levels of support to clients. But this team leader position is more than about just running a technical support, also looking for someone with a deep technical background who can both develop junior technical support engineers and has the individual ability to dive deep into technical matters and provide technical leadership for APAC clients.
Appropriate applicants will have:
- Foremost some strong technical support type experience underpinned by a strong technology education.
- Both on site and hosted / web services (AWS) technical experience
- Some team lead / management experience would be beneficial, or you are ready to step up to lead a small; team.
- Ideally you will have some experience with the trading systems / venues / infrastructures / venues / FIX connectivity etc.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills as this role has a client facing edge.
- The personal motivation and ability to contribute to a dynamic and entrepreneurial team culture.
